Scale
  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 2 large onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 4 ounces of goat cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  3. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut into squares (about 3 inches). Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Top the pastry squares with caramelized onions and sprinkle with crumbled goat cheese.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme and serve warm.
