Ultimate Sheet Pan Pizza

A family favorite that transforms pizza night into a fun and customizable experience.

Ingredients

  • 2 packages (4-1/2 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 2 cups warm water (110°F or 43°C)
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 4045 slices of pepperoni
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Italian seasoning (to sprinkle generously)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Coat a 17×12-inch sheet pan with 1/4 cup of olive oil and set aside.
  3. In a bowl, combine the yeast and sugar with warm water and allow to proof for about 10 minutes.
  4. Add flour and garlic salt to the yeast mixture; mix on low speed until combined.
  5. Gradually add the remaining 1/4 cup of olive oil while mixing until a smooth dough forms (about 5 minutes).
  6. Transfer the dough to your oiled sheet pan, pressing it out to fit evenly. Let it rest if necessary.
  7. Spread the pizza sauce over the dough, leaving a border. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over sauce, then add pepperonis and a dusting of Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove from oven, cool for a few minutes, slice, and enjoy!

Notes
