Italian Pistachio Cream

A rich and luscious spread made from roasted pistachios, sugar, and cream, perfect for breakfast or a sweet treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup shelled pistachios
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Blend the pistachios in a food processor until they become a fine powder, about 30 seconds.
  2. Add powdered sugar, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt; blend until smooth and creamy, about 1-2 minutes.
  3. If using, drizzle in olive oil while blending until desired consistency is achieved.
  4. Transfer to a clean jar and store in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Notes

For a fun twist, pair with fresh fruits or drizzle over cakes. Store in an airtight container; it may separate slightly, so stir before using.
