Elevate your weeknight dinner with these Juicy Honey Mustard Pork Chops, featuring a sweet and tangy glaze that promises to delight your taste buds.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 pork chops, bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick
  • 3 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh rosemary or thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels to ensure a nice sear. Trim any excess fat.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to create the glaze.
  3. If desired, marinate the pork chops in the glaze for at least 30 minutes, up to 4 hours for maximum flavor.
  4. Choose your cooking method:
    1. Pan-Seared and Oven-Finished: Preheat oven to 400°F. Sear chops in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown, then transfer to the oven and bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, basting halfway through.
    2. Fully Baked: Place marinated chops in a greased baking dish and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes, spooning glaze over halfway through.
    3. Grilled: Preheat grill to medium-high and grill chops for about 4-5 minutes per side, brushing with glaze.
    4. Air Fryer: Preheat air fryer to 400°F and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  5. Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; pork should reach 145°F.

Notes

To store, keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For best results when reheating, use the oven to retain moisture.
