Irresistibly Easy Oven Baked Chicken Thighs

A simple yet delightful recipe for crispy and juicy oven-baked chicken thighs, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 pounds chicken thighs (68 pieces)
  • 1 tablespoon butter, diced

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. In a large bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, dried parsley, salt, and black pepper to form a thick paste.
  3. Add the patted dry chicken thighs to the bowl and toss them thoroughly with the seasoning paste.
  4. Place the chicken thighs skin-side up on the hot pan and dot with diced butter.
  5. Bake the chicken for 20 minutes, then baste with pan juices.
  6. Continue baking for another 10 minutes, basting again.
  7. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and bake for an additional 5-15 minutes if needed.
  8. For extra crispiness, broil the chicken for 1–2 minutes, watching closely.

Notes

Pat chicken thighs dry for crisp skin. Allow them to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
