A delightful mango tart featuring creamy mango puree on a crisp tart shell, perfect for summer gatherings.

  • 2 ripe mangoes, pureed
  • 1 cup heavy cream (cold for whipping)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon gelatin (optional)
  • Fresh mango slices for decoration
  • Glaze (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) if your tart crust isn’t pre-baked.
  2. Prepare the filling by combining pureed mangoes, sugar, and heavy cream in a mixing bowl.
  3. Fill the cooled tart crust with the mango mixture and smooth the top with a spatula.
  4. Chill the tart in the refrigerator for at least 120 minutes, or until set.
  5. Decorate with fresh mango slices and glaze before serving.
