Savory-Sweet Maple Glazed Pork Chops

  • 4 pork chops (Bone-in or boneless, at least 1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Generously season both sides of the pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until nicely browned.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup and Dijon mustard until smooth.
  5. Pour the maple-Dijon glaze over the seared pork chops, coating them well.
  6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until the pork chops reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Let the chops rest for a few minutes before serving and enjoy!

Notes

For deeper flavor, marinate the pork chops in the maple-Dijon mixture in advance.
