  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Rub each chicken breast with olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle the seasoning mix generously over the chicken breasts.
  5. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the butter to melt.
  6. Sear each chicken breast for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the chicken.
  8. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  9. Remove from the oven and let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For the best results, bring the chicken to room temperature before cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
