Irresistible M&M Cookies

Deliciously thick and chewy M&M cookies that bring back fond memories of family baking.

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups M&M candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Cream together butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, incorporating each fully.
  4. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just combined, then fold in M&M candies.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet, spacing them out. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  6. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For a gluten-free version, substitute with a 1-to-1 gluten-free flour blend. Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
