Instructions

  1. Preheat Your Oven: Set it to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Prep Your Dry Ingredients: Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream Butter and Sugar: Beat softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Incorporate Peanut Butter: Mix in the peanut butter until fully combined.
  5. Add the Eggs: Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each; stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet, alternating with milk, mixing just until combined.

  10. Prepare the Frosting: Beat together peanut butter, softened butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, and enough milk until spreadable.
  11. Frost the Cake: Frost the top of one layer, place the second layer on top, and frost the top and sides.
