Irresistible Peppermint Oreo Truffles

Creamy bite-sized truffles made with Oreos, cream cheese, and a hint of peppermint, perfect for the holiday season.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Cream Cheese, at room temperature
  • 36 Oreos (~1 regular package), crushed
  • 1 tsp. Peppermint Extract
  • 11 oz. White Chocolate Baking Chips or Melts
  • Crushed Candy Canes, for topping

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreos in a food processor until finely powdered.
  2. Combine crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese and peppermint extract in a mixing bowl; mix until well blended.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1” balls and freeze for 30 minutes.
  4. Melt the white chocolate in a heat-proof bowl in the microwave.
  5. Dip the frozen truffles into the melted chocolate and place back on wax paper.
  6. Sprinkle with crushed candy canes immediately after dipping.

Notes

For an alternative flavor, swap peppermint extract with vanilla or experiment with different toppings.
