Pizza-Style Cottage Cheese Bake

This wholesome twist on pizza combines creamy cottage cheese, al dente pasta, and gooey mozzarella for a comforting family favorite.

  • 2 cups cottage cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup cooked pasta (like rotini or penne)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional toppings: sliced pepperoni, bell peppers, olives

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, mozzarella cheese, marinara sauce, cooked pasta, and Parmesan cheese. Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; stir until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Top with additional mozzarella cheese and any optional toppings.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Make sure your cottage cheese is at room temperature for easier mixing. Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
