Quick Cranberry Meatballs

Quick and easy cranberry meatballs that blend the savory taste of meat with the sweet and tangy flavor of cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1 can (15 oz) cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Form small balls, about 1 inch in diameter (20-24 meatballs).
  4. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
  5. While baking, mix cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Toss the baked meatballs in the sauce to coat evenly, letting them simmer for 5-10 minutes.

Notes

For a crispy skin, broil the meatballs for the last few minutes of baking. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
