Quick and Easy Garlic Butter Shrimp

A delightful seafood dish featuring tender shrimp sautéed in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for a quick meal any night of the week.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. It should take about 1-2 minutes.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant, ensuring it doesn’t burn.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink.
  4. Pour in the white wine and lemon juice, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in the chopped parsley just before serving.

Notes

Allow butter to sit at room temperature for even melting. Adjust seasoning to taste while cooking.
