Rose Cardamom Tea Latte

A cozy and fragrant tea latte that combines black tea, cardamom, and rose for a delightful and comforting drink.

Ingredients

  • 1 black tea bag (or 1 tsp loose black tea)
  • ½ cup hot water
  • ½ cup steamed milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • ¼ tsp cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp rose syrup or food-grade rose water
  • Optional sweetener: honey, sugar, maple syrup, or agave
  • Optional garnish: dried rose petals, cardamom pods, or a cinnamon stick

Instructions

  1. Steep the tea by placing your black tea bag (or loose tea in a strainer) in ½ cup of hot water. Steep for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Stir in ¼ tsp of cardamom powder and 1 tsp of rose syrup or rose water once the tea is ready.
  3. Froth or heat ½ cup of your choice of milk until hot but not boiling.
  4. Pour the frothed milk over the tea mixture gently.
  5. Garnish with dried rose petals, a dash of cardamom, or a cinnamon stick. Enjoy warm!

Notes

For best frothing, ensure your milk is at room temperature. If using loose tea, have a fine-mesh strainer ready.
