Rotel Cream Cheese Sausage Balls

Savory, cheesy sausage balls with a kick from Rotel tomatoes, perfect for gatherings.

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel tomatoes and green chilies, drained
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground sausage, softened cream cheese, drained Rotel tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, flour, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix until well combined.
  4. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  5. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in chopped jalapeños or green onions. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
