Deliciously Easy Sausage Cream Cheese Crescent Bake

  • 1 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 2 cans crescent roll dough
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, crumble and brown the sausage for 8-10 minutes until fully cooked.
  3. Lower the heat, add the softened cream cheese, and mix until blended. Stir in green onions, seasoning with salt and pepper.
  4. Unroll one can of crescent dough and lay it flat in a greased baking dish, pressing the seams together.
  5. Spread the sausage mixture over the crescent base and sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  6. Roll out the second can of crescent dough and lay it on top, sealing the edges gently.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes, slice into squares, and serve warm.
