Savory Green Beans

A delightful side dish of green beans sautéed with garlic and onions, perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: slivered almonds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and trim the green beans.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  4. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  5. Add the green beans and toss them with the onion and garlic.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the green beans are tender-crisp.
  8. If desired, sprinkle slivered almonds on top before serving.
