Simple Broccolini

A vibrant and easy dish of sautéed broccolini with garlic and lemon, perfect as a side or light main.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of broccolini
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Broccolini: Rinse the broccolini under cold water to remove any dirt or grit. Trim the ends about an inch.
  2. Heat the Skillet: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until it shimmers.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  4. Cook the Broccolini: Toss the broccolini into the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Season: Remove the skillet from heat, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve: Plate the broccolini warm and serve it with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat gently to maintain texture.
