A traditional and tangy Spicy Mango Pickle that’s bursting with flavor, perfect for enhancing everyday meals.

  • 2 raw mangoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup mustard oil
  • 2 tablespoons mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons fenugreek seeds
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 1 tablespoon red chili powder
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare the mango by mixing it with salt, turmeric, and red chili powder in a bowl.
  2. Heat the mustard oil until smoking and then let it cool slightly.
  3. Crackle the mustard seeds and fenugreek seeds in the cooled oil.
  4. Combine the spiced oil with the mango mixture, stirring gently to coat.
  5. Store in a glass jar and marinate for at least 3 days before using.

Notes

Allow the pickle to marinate for a week for the best flavor. Store in a cool, dark place, refrigerate after opening.
