Sizzling Steak Bites and Comforting Gnocchi

A delightful combination of tender steak bites and pillowy gnocchi, enhanced by garlic-infused olive oil.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound steak (sirloin or filet mignon)
  • 1 pound gnocchi (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
  • Parmesan cheese, grated (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat until it shimmers.
  2. Season 1 pound of steak pieces generously with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the steak to the skillet. Sear for 3-5 minutes, turning occasionally until browned.
  4. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add 2 cloves of minced garlic. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add 1 pound of gnocchi and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything to combine.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and optional grated Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
