Savory Steaks with Creamy Garlic Sauce

A delightful culinary fusion of perfectly cooked steaks enveloped in a rich garlic cream sauce, perfect for family dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your favorite cut)
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • Fresh Parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Heat the Oil: In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat. You know it’s ready when it shimmers!
  2. Cook the Steaks: Pat your steaks dry with paper towels (this helps achieve a perfect sear) and season both sides with salt and pepper. Sear them in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare. You’re looking for a nice brown crust. Use a meat thermometer – it should read 130°F for medium-rare. Once cooked, transfer the steaks to a plate and let them rest for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Sauté the Garlic: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant and golden—don’t let it burn!
  4. Create the Sauce: Add 1/2 cup of beef broth to the skillet, scraping up all those delicious browned bits from the bottom. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk constantly, allowing the mixture to thicken for about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Combine: Return your resting steaks to the skillet, spooning the rich sauce over them. Let them rest for 1-2 minutes in the sauce for maximum flavor infusion.
  6. Finish and Serve: Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving. Serve immediately and enjoy this delicious adventure!

Notes

Allow steaks to come to room temperature for even cooking. Use high-quality cuts of meat for the best results.
