Sticky Garlic Chicken Noodles

A delightful marriage of tender chicken and chewy noodles in a glossy, sweet-savory sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast or thighs (cut into bite-sized pieces)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tsp grated ginger
  • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes (optional)
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 8 oz noodles (rice or egg noodles)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, and optional chili flakes until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Toss chicken pieces with cornstarch until evenly coated.
  3. In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add chicken to the pan, sauté for about 6–8 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Pour the sauce over the chicken, stirring to coat, and let it simmer for 1–2 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile, cook noodles according to package directions, drain, and toss with a little oil.
  7. Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss gently to combine.
  8. Serve garnished with chopped green onions and optional sesame seeds.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Don’t forget to let the chicken sit after coating with cornstarch for optimal texture!
