  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, chicken, or turkey)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, finely chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add the ground meat to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it into smaller pieces as it cooks (5-7 minutes).
  4. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper, mixing thoroughly for 1 more minute.
  5. Add the chopped bok choy and cook for another 2-3 minutes until just wilted but still crisp.
  6. Serve immediately while hot.
