Instructions

  1. Make the Simple Syrup: Combine 1 cup of water and 1 cup of granulated sugar in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, simmering and stirring until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool.
  2. Prepare the Strawberry Puree: In a blender, add hulled strawberries and ½ cup of water. Blend until smooth. Strain if desired for a seedless juice.
  3. Mix the Lemonade: In a large pitcher, combine the lemon juice, simple syrup, strawberry juice, and 4 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Test the flavor and adjust with more water or sweetness as preferred.
  5. Serve: Fill glasses or a pitcher with ice, pour the lemonade, and garnish with lemon slices and strawberries.
  6. Store: Keep leftovers in the fridge, consuming within 3-4 days.
