The Ultimate Strawberry Pretzel Salad

A delightful dessert that combines a salty pretzel crust, creamy cheese layer, and refreshing strawberry topping.

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 2 packages (3 oz each) strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, crush the pretzel sticks and combine with melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish and bake for about 10 minutes. Let cool.
  3. Beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping. Spread over the cooled pretzel crust.
  4. Dissolve the Jell-O in boiling water, cool slightly, and mix in sliced strawberries. Pour over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until fully set. Serve chilled.

Notes

For the best texture, allow the dessert to chill overnight. Substitute fruits or use gluten-free ingredients as desired.
