Ultimate Stuffed Mushroom Dip

A creamy, cheesy dip that beautifully blends fresh mushrooms with rich herbs and cheeses, perfect for gatherings.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes until browned.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Lower the heat and mix in softened cream cheese and sour cream until fully combined and creamy.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella and all of the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
  5. Transfer to an oven-safe dish, sprinkle remaining mozzarella on top, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh herbs, and serve hot with bread, crackers, or veggie sticks.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add jalapeños. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-5 days.
