The Ultimate Stuffed Mushrooms

A comforting and budget-friendly stuffed mushrooms recipe, perfect as an appetizer or cozy family dish.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound mushroom caps (cremini or portobello)
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (regular or panko)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Clean the mushroom caps and remove the stems.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine breadcrumbs, parsley, thyme, cream cheese, parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil into the mixture and stir until combined.
  5. Stuff each mushroom cap generously with the mixture.
  6. Place stuffed mushrooms on a greased baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

Store leftover mushrooms in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. These can also be frozen for up to 2 months.
