Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ lbs ground turkey
  • 1 cup stuffing mix
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup turkey broth
  • 1 tsp dried sage
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil, then sauté the chopped onion and garlic for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, sautéed onion and garlic, stuffing mix, egg, turkey broth, sage, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  4. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and shape it into a loaf, about 2 inches high and 5 inches wide.
  5. Bake for 1 hour, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  6. Allow the meatloaf to rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

For added moisture, consider incorporating grated vegetables or adjusting the amount of broth used. Let the meatloaf cool before storing leftovers.
