Chewy Protein Chocolate Chip Cookies

These delectable cookies combine the nostalgic flavors of classic chocolate chip cookies with protein powder, making them a nutritious treat that’s perfect for post-workout snacking or a sweet indulgence.

  • ⅔ cup unsalted peanut butter
  • ½ cup granulated sugar (white or brown)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup vanilla protein powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar until smooth and slightly fluffy.
  3. Add the peanut butter and vanilla extract, stirring until well combined.
  4. Gently fold in the protein powder and baking soda, mixing just until combined.
  5. Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed in the dough.
  6. Scoop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them a couple of inches apart, and slightly flatten the tops.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  8. Let cool on the sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack.

Notes

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week. The dough can be refrigerated for 1-2 days to enhance flavors.
