Vanilla Chai Tea Latte

A comforting blend of spiced black tea, creamy milk, and a hint of vanilla, perfect for chilly afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 2 Black tea bags
  • ¾ cup filtered Water
  • 1 cup Milk (whole, almond, or oat)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon Ginger
  • ½ teaspoon Cardamom
  • ¼ teaspoon Cloves
  • ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg
  • Brown sugar or honey to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine ¾ cup water, 2 black tea bags, and all the spices. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to let it simmer for about 5 minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and remove the tea bags. Let the mixture steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. In another saucepan, heat 1 cup of milk over medium-low heat until steaming and frothy.
  4. Froth your milk using a frother, whisk, or a jar with a lid.
  5. Strain the spiced tea mixture into a mug, stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and your preferred sweetener, then gently pour the frothed milk on top.

Notes

Customize your chai by adjusting spices or the type of milk. This drink can also be served iced.
