Irresistibly Creamy Vegan Hollandaise Sauce

A luxurious vegan hollandaise sauce made with wholesome ingredients that brings comfort and nostalgia to your brunch table.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cashews (soaked for a few hours or overnight)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (Dijon preferred)
  • 1/2 cup water (adjust for consistency)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse the soaked cashews to remove excess soaking water.
  2. In a blender, combine the soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, mustard, and water.
  3. Blend on low, gradually increasing to high until smooth and creamy (about 1-2 minutes).
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Serve over your favorite dishes or as a topping.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days, or freeze for up to a month. Re-blend after thawing as needed.
